Janet Finch-Saunders launches Aberconwy Covid Recovery survey
Janet Finch-Saunders – the Welsh Conservative candidate for Aberconwy – has launched her Coronavirus Recovery survey to seek the views of Aberconwy constituents on the present COVID-19 pandemic and on how our nation's recovery should progress.
Among the recovery plans praised in the survey is the Welsh Conservative commitment to create 150,000 apprenticeships by 2026, as well as helping young people access education and training with free bus travel and discounted rail travel for 16-24 year olds. Janet's Covid Recovery survey can be found at:
Making clear the need for a clear recovery plan, Janet said:
“I’m proud that the Welsh Conservatives have wasted no time in putting together an ambitious plan to deliver real change for the residents of Aberconwy. Our recovery plan will help our economy to bounce back better, helping to teach new skills and creating long-term green jobs. “Importantly, it will also place Wales on a prepared footing to combat any future pandemic. Indeed, the Welsh Conservatives have pledged to create a Welsh Pandemic Network to ensure the production of PPE and hand sanitiser for the NHS and care homes. “It is forward thinking, innovative and positive steps like this which the Welsh Conservatives are proud to be putting to the electorate. I’m proud of my record of delivery for Aberconwy, as well as my commitment to registering the views of local residents. I encourage them to visit my website and take part in my new recovery survey.”
